The Da Vinci Color is a professional 3D printer made by XYZPrinting, a manufacturer based in Taiwan. The XYZPrinting Da Vinci Color is a full-color 3D printer that uses a combination of inkjet and 3D printing technology.
The Da Vinci Color works with a color-absorbing PLA filament that the manufacturer calls Color-PLA (CPLA). This filament absorbs droplets of CMYK ink, enabling the Da Vinci Color to generate full-color 3D prints. In addition, the 3D printer works with the same type of ink cartridges as regular printers. Hence, it can produce up to 16 million different shades of color.
Finally, XYZPrinting manufactures a good number of other 3D printers, including the Da Vinci 1.0 Pro 3-in-1 and the Nobel 1.0A.
